What To Expect

Expect adventure!

Interviewing for a position at SECURA is one of the first steps on your road to being a part of our dynamic team of experienced and energetic professionals. We love what we do and love to hire other positive individuals who feel the same passion and excitement for their jobs.

Although the interview process won’t be identical from one applicant to the next (after all, you are an individual!), SECURA candidates can expect to follow a procedure similar to the one outlined below.

Step 1

Submit your application and resume online or apply by mail at: PO Box 819, Appleton, WI, 54912.

Step 2

After reviewing your application materials, our Human Resources Department will determine whether or not you meet all application qualifications. If so, a Human Resources associate will contact you to set up a phone interview.

This interview will be used to gauge your attitude and the energy you’ll bring to the team, including what motivates and excites you about your career. In other words, this is the time to show us what makes you tick and let your passion shine!

Step 3

If we determine that you are qualified for the position, we will contact you to schedule a second interview. This time we get to meet you in-person, and you get to show us your stuff! Because the second interview process is longer than the phone interview, you will need to be available for a full morning or afternoon onsite at SECURA.

During the second interview, the job you’re applying for will be explained in full, and you may interview with three or more executives, peers, and supervisory associates. (Quick tip: Do your homework! Research our company, the position you’re applying for, and come prepared with a few solid questions to ask your interviewers. Remember, you’re interviewing us, too.)

After your second interview is complete, a SECURA associate may take you on a tour of the office building and answer any final questions. At this time, you may also participate in a short job-shadowing or skills assessment for the position you’re applying for.

Step 4

Usually within three to four weeks, you will receive notification of hire and, if applicable, an offer of employment. We take our time to ensure that there is a mutual match. You can’t rush perfection, right?

If you have any specific questions about the SECURA application and interview process, don’t hesitate to ask. We believe open communication is important. Contact us today for more information or to speak to one of our Human Resources associates.
